We need your help! Please share!
We have a mother that has lost her Veteran son to suicide leaving her to have custody of his special needs child. The child’s mother abandoned him at a young age so it is up to this mother to carry the financial responsibilities as well as all the care for her grandson.
She is a 100% disabled Veteran and a true hero to me. Her only income is her disability payment. I asked her what I could do for her and she humbly stated that she needs XL clothes for him and that she would not eat if it meant he would go without.
I told her that I am going to rally my friends and do a fundraiser and see if there is more help for her in her area in Michigan.
I promised to keep her anonymous as she will never ask for help and I will protect her identity. This grieving mother did share photos for me to post so you could see the love of her son to his son, mother, child and a photo pf both.
My non-profit National Veteran Resources just received a grant through the Marne Spouses Club which we are going to donate 100% of the proceeds to and I ask you or your company to donate any amount.
Please lets give all our love to this mom from my group Mothers of Veteran Suicide and a Veteran as well.
A Message from MOVS
Mothers of Veteran Suicide
They are mothers of the brave men and women who have served our country. Their children won the war but not the battle, and they died by suicide. These mothers do not want anything from the government but want recognition that their child served and died for our country.
"As mothers, we mourn for our children. We are a group that supports, loves and encourages each other. We share our thoughts and feelings, share positive thoughts and uplift each other. None of us wants to be part of this group or family but we do all we can to go on."
If you know a mother or are a mother that lost a son or daughter that was an active duty service member or veteran, please we urge you to join this group.
National Veteran Resources wants to honor them and help the world remember their children as the heroes they were. Our mission in life is to save as many as we can.
These are their news stories with Michele:
